Hello, and welcome!
I’m Megan, the creator behind this space where art and storytelling merge. Whether it’s through pencil and paper, an oil painting or digital artwork, I’ve made it my mission to bring ideas to life — and hopefully make you stop, think, or smile along the way.
I’m always on the lookout for inspiration to create my next masterpiece, and I often find it in the myriad colours and textures of the world around me. I’m drawn to the unpredictable beauty of the natural world — the random, imperfect patterns that inspire me to embrace the chaos and let my work reflect it. Despite the temptation to smooth and perfect, especially in digital art, I fight to keep that raw, organic feel, so my creations feel alive, not too polished.
My journey into the arts began with a simple curiosity, and what started as a passion soon blossomed into an exploration of both the world around me and my inner self. Fantasy, for me, is not just an escape — it’s a way to reflect, discover new truths, and see the world from a different perspective.
When I’m not creating, you’ll likely find me immersed in a good film or a book (usually of the fantasy genre, but I’m also a fan of sci-fi and detective stories). If I’m honest, Tolkien is my King, and I often find myself lost in the vastness of Middle-earth. There are so many incredible books out there, and I can’t help but feel a little sad that I’ll never get to read them all.
I work with many digital programs, but my favourite among them is Photoshop CC, Adobe Fresco and Procreate, and I approach each project with care, attention to detail, and a sense of humour — because sometimes, the best creations come when you don't take yourself too seriously.
I also love to create my artwork with any traditional tools I can get my hands on. Latest among them is printmaking and drypoint etching. I find this to be a challenging and thought-provoking process, and I’m greatly enjoying experimenting with it.
Take a look around, explore my work, and if you feel inspired or curious to collaborate, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s create something meaningful together.
