Big Bad Wolf (previously: Red Riding Hood and The Wolf)
Keeping in mind that this was supposed to be a relaxing and honestly, easy, redraw of an old piece I drew back around 5 years ago this was incredibly frustrating and while simple in style, required a lot of thinking.

Obviously based on the fairytale, I was originally going for the moment Red looks back and sees The Wolf. However, upon reflection, I decided last minute to add a bit of light in the form of a sunbeam, and this helped me see what to do next ironically, which is to change the narrative of the artwork and instead, this is moment Red feels hope at the first glimmer of sunlight; before she looks back and sees The Wolf behind her, which is what I was going for to begin with.

I also changed the face slightly and added some detail in the shape of an arm and the bodice this adds a bit of form and colour to a previous bland part covered with the cloak as I didn’t know how to draw what I wanted to back then in 2020 (or 2019? I can’t remember).

Below is the original finished piece and a side by side. URL is to my original artwork which I posted way back when.
